The specialised online CTEYL course option is designed for those who already hold a teaching qualification and would like to gain a certification in teaching English to young learners. The course covers the key concepts of child-centred learning entirely through online distance learning. It comes with the support of a personal tutor who will help and guide you, and assess and grade your submitted course work throughout the course.
As this course is assessed on an ongoing basis, there is no final exam.
This CTEYL course aims to provide you with a complete introduction to the world of the young learners' classroom. It will enable graduates to develop a good working knowledge of the English grammatical system as well as an awareness of the techniques and skills required to be a successful English language teacher to young learners. On completion of your course, you will receive a Certificate in Teaching English to Young Learners (CTEYL) awarded by Eton Institute.
